Been a few weeks since my last post - been a bit busy with work/holidays.
Decided to start back by entering week 24 of the 'Less is More' challenge. The theme this week is circles. As usual I am trying to get on with my Christmas cards so here is the result -
I used a Cuttlebug die for the snowman and a Martha Stewart punch for the edge. My dilemma came with the greeting (from Craftwork cards) - add or don't add???? In the end I went for it but personally I think I would have preferred it left off. Let me know what you think.
Great christmas card, loving your punch art! And that edge punch is gorgeous.

Fab LIM card. I like the sentiment but think I would have tried it in the top corner. Debs xx

hola Fiona, very elegant christmas CAS card, i love it.
ReplyDeleteA hug from Palma
I too tend to think it might have been better without the sentiment, but it's perfectly super as it is!

ReplyDeleteLove your Mr Snowman and the three circles of his body are echoed in the border punch. (Don't think it needed the sentiment but still great with it). xx

Hi Fiona, popped over from docrafts and your blog is great. The snowman is really cute and I love your MS border - possibly you ought to have gone with your gut feeling and omitted the greeting but it's still a great card. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteHello Fiona, I love your Christmas card and I definitely would have added that greeting, it's a perfect finish - in my opinion. Love your snowman. I have made a similar one with my cuttlebug. I like the edging on your card too.
